What happened after the war was that some of King Philip's supporters escaped to Canada and some of them surrendered and were shipped off as slaves to the west indies. ¨This war was extremely costly to the colonists of southern New England and which ended the Native American dominance in the region.¨ (from History- King Philip´s War ends) After the war some of the native Americans were sent to Deer Island as slaves and had to deal with the freezing cold and many of the native Americans died due to becoming sick.
