 In 1675-78 there was a war between the Native American's vs the English settlers. There was two names of the war one called the King Philips War , the other name called "Great Narragansett War". This war was one of the dangerous conflict in Boston's history. King Philips war was also known as a civil war because , it was a fight between members of the same society. This war was caused because King Philip had became in power due to the death of his brother Alexander , but the bigger picture was the English were trying to expand on to the Native American's property, and the Wampanoag didn't like the fact that they're trying to take over.
