Mattapan is one of the most beautiful places in Boston. It's an interesting neighborhood and a very diverse neighborhood. Mattapan was originally part of Dorchester until the 1800s when it became its own neighborhood. The Neponset tribe who originally settled Mattapan were a tribe of the Massachusetts Native Americans. Mattapan has a trolley that goes through the cemetary which I ride on every day to go to school. I used to be scared at first but I got used to it. It really is a beautiful sight to see, especially on a sunny day.
