The Betrayal: Events leading up to the Boston Tea Party, By Kiondre and Antionio

The Boston Tea Party was perhaps one of the most important events leading to the American Revolution. Because this was an event that triggered the English into declaring actual war onto The Colonies. Some of the events leading up to the Tea Party include things like: England starting out by putting a tax onto the tea that was sold to the colonies. This, of course, upset the colonies because they didn't like getting taxed without representation. This triggered the start of a boycott of the English tea, Where the tea would be brought to the Colonies but no one would buy it. The British reacted to this by passing a law that did more bad than good. And this law was known as the Tea Act, which basically made is so the tea was imported straight from the tea company to the Colonies, instead of from the British to the Colonies. This caused even more trouble because they managed to mess with the colonial merchants causing them to be cut out of the main trade. Along with that, the colonists were upset with the fact that Britain was still trying to sell them tea so when the ship first arrived they  called for the
