American's Protecting What's Theirs 1775, By Breanna

     Americans Protecting What's Theirs

"DON'T FIRE UNLESS THE BRITISH FIRE" "DON'T FIRE UNLESS THE AMERICANS FIRE". These are the examples from each side, they claim as self defense from both sides. When in reality those exact claims  is what started the war.  The war  known as the Battles Of Lexington and Concord . The cause of war wasn't just based off of the tension from both groups, nor self defense claims rather, over authority the British was trying to push for. The British were trying to take the American weapons. Going back into time the British took it upon their self to go and find trouble, traveling from Boston to Concord to attempt to seize weapons from the Americans. Their attempts failed due to the amount of insufficient soldiers they had, and not knowing what they were up against with the Americans causing them to retreat as a whole. Leaving the the Americans to take the win . Not only did the Americans not want any trouble, they were simply just trying to protect their land from the bullies (BRITISH) who tried to take over what the Americans worked hard for, and that is the reason for the cause of the revolutionary war.
